Edinbop presents this Solo Jazz Workshop with Sarah followed by our Southside Stomp social dance with live music that evening.
Join us for a three hour Solo Jazz workshop, exploring our connection to jazz dancing via the connection we have to ourselves, the history, the music and our community. We'll be deep diving into technique & body awareness to fast track your dancing, so some knowledge of jazz steps or swing dancing is required, but we will break down any steps as needed.
The venues: Both the Crags Centre & Greyfriars Charteris Centre are fully wheelchair accessible. Toilets, incl. accessible toilets, are on the ground floor and close to the room in use. For Greyfriars Charteris Centre, if not out, chairs are available in the hall upon request. There are some steps to the Binks Hall but these can be bypassed by a wheelchair lift that is self-operated.
